In this episode of the podcast I talk to Dr Lauren Roffey, who had her viva in December 2012. Lauren completed her PhD in environmental social science at the University of East Anglia, and her research centred around the role of the aviation industry in environmental policy-making in the UK.
You can find Lauren on Twitter as @cakewithacause. Since completing her PhD, Lauren has been working to set up a social enterprise. A Baked Thesis will be a modern coffeehouse with social aims. We talked about her passion for this on the podcast, and you can find out more about it on her website.
