    Episode 8: Dr Aimee Blackledge

    • Episode Podcast
    • September 21, 2012

Dr Aimee Blackledge is a Researcher Developer at the University of Liverpool. She is a colleague and friend of mine who I know from various workshops that we’ve worked on together. Her PhD was in the History of Art, and she did her research at the University of Oxford; on the podcast she talks about a really cool public engagement project that she was involved with, you should definitely check it out.

I really enjoyed interviewing Aimee, as it was only the second time that I’ve done a Viva Survivors recording in person rather than over Skype. Her research is really interesting and it was great to hear her story. She has some great advice for people starting out on a PhD and for the viva too. Aimee is also on Twitter!

I’m still looking for interesting ideas for future podcasts and interviewees. If you have any ideas drop me an email, leave comments on the episodes and make sure you’re following the Twitter feed for announcements: @VivaSurvivors.
